Hallo, and thank´s Peter for replying!

BUT THAT´S REALLY EMBARRASSING FOR ADOBE!
I believed this was a basic function, especially when
the OLD PINNACLE 9 is fixing this!
I will really have second thoughts about buying this!
Maybe people recommending VEGAS are right?

Do you mean that it´s not a function in P ELEMENTS,
or is it a general flaw, even in P PRO?

    P.S.
Sorry for posting in wrong forum, but as new starter,
I think the forum-design is rather difficult to navigate.

  • Why this reply isn´t visible, i don´t know,
    but I post it instead:

That’s right. It isn’t a feature. Bang on Adobe’s door demanding it, along with the rest of us.

In the meantime you can use the free utility WinDV to capture and name clips according to date/time. That way you can see the shooting time inside PE and also get clip names which unambiguously sort chronologically. Alternatively you could use the free utility DVdate by Glagla to view the clip shooting time outside PE.

By the way, you should have posted in the main forum, not in a section designed to tell others of useful tips and tricks.
