my set up seemed to work fine for awhile though, thats why i was wondering if maybe it was my hard drive or the connection speed…

i have a mac mini, 2G RAM, 2G intel core 2 duo
iomega minimax external hd, 750G- drive has 420G taken up
connected via firewire 400

sequence set at HD 1440×1080, media same
3 layers of video
128G of media

that enough info?
