I have been using it for many years actually and just started using the actual DPS codec to render directly to a DPS file, much easier. (I used to have to create a targa sequence in DPS, just black frames, and then I would render a targa sequence out of AE and replace each frame when rendering) I can not figure out how to render audio out of AE as a DVA? I am rendering the animation to DPS then I export a wav. file out of AE and load that into DPS. Is there a way to render audio and video together out of AE?

Also we are running into a huge problem with sharing AE projects between work stations that have DVAs in them. It won’t let us open the project on a new work station, it crashes. Any help would be huge!!

Hello,

I am not sure if this will work for what you need but it may be similar enough… In the past I have taken a solid that is a very saturated light blue, almost white, and put it on top of the layer I want to “flash”…

Use the “add” transfer mode on the light blue solid.

then you can keyframe the opacity of the solid from 0-100% to “blow out” the highlight areas to white…

maybe that could work for you.
