I think it’s his clinical approach to it, he explains everything from scientific aspect and makes u visualize the molecules of food etc…
same way u guys are helping me visualize molecules of beta-decks, interfaces etc.. hahaha

Hey guys,
thanks for fast responses. I just didn’t know where to start from. 🙂
Well basically, I wanted to be equipt for HD since that’s the future. I know in Croatia HD is still not making a lot of headway but I guess doesn’t hurt to be advanced in whatever you can get. basically I am currently in New York still working with couple of companies trying to get money to finance all this. I will be in Croatia in December and get this ball rolling then – it’s in the works. It will be based in Zagreb.
Unfortunately I can’t speak German, I had several attempts of trying to learn it – didn’t happen hahaha.I just want to tap into a market that is majorly unrepresented and unexplored. There is a lot of talent from that area and lot of them outsource work to countries like UK, Italy and Germany because tehnically, skillwise they can’t find support.
Im just figuring out how to do this with possibility of upgrade, decent savings and to still be up to date with everything..
and p.s. yes I like blackmagic :))

so i installed the plugin and was able to open vod directly into premiere, but im still getting that jerking motion and major interlacing i cant get rid off….it still renders out the same no matter what option i pick

Unfortunately, I have been asking, but as usual – nobody knows anything – because my dept. is pretty new with the whole HD thing, so now they are still trying to figure out which direction to go – which makes my life a mess.
But thanks guys for all your advice. It is appriciated.

it will go onto television, it’s also going to be projected but from betas (i think). I think the school is still deciding, if they are just going to project the full pieces digitally or drop it down to SD.

well I don’t know what the hell postworks did, but all footage even the 60i and 23.97 was digitized as 29.97…
i know all of them are interlaced, with lower field as the interpretation.
I mean once we lost them, we had to recapture the 23.97 tapes again and they got captured in the state as they were shot, so thats why we are having the problem of matching up those two framerates…Another question is, whats better to do – stay with 29.97 or bring everything to 23.97?
I hope I am making sense with all of this, it’s just confusing me completely, and we were fine until we lost some captured footage…aghh

we already have lighting decided, the gear and the crew. We were just looking at cameras as independant factors, of which one will give the best resolution and the best quality of image.
