    Red IS a nasty colour. Because of the wavelength and the broadcast frequency, most people avoid it like the plague. It hums on tube tvs, bleeds on analog signals and pixelates on digital compressions.

    The best thing to do is notch it down 10 to 20 RGB points.

    You can desatch just the red as well.
    I run into problems when “creatives” I use the term loosely, and clients come up with grandiose ideas on using red in their spots. all that happens is a compression nightmare.
    A lot of the time i tweak it down past legal limits. They can’t tell and if anyone complains I just bring up the term legal and illegal and it just scares em silly.

    call me ignorant, but which part do i insert into the clicker and which part into the peg?? It’s been awhile since ive used expressions
