K, thanks for the help. I’ve told them to just download quicktime because that’s the easiest thing to do in this situation, every other client has done it in the past. So hopefully this guy complies and makes life a lot easier on everybody.

I have downloaded the free flip4mac a while ago.

So what you’re saying is that there’s no way to export a file from Final Cut Pro into a Windows Media Video file without buying this product’s full version?

Thank you so much, that fixed it. I figured out that my scratch disk wasn’t set to the proper folder, figured it out eventually, but deleting and starting over helped immensely. Thanks again.

I tried it, everything renders fine. But now there are no render files in either “Audio render files” or “Render files” after I render my project. And when I try to output to my beta machine, I see video, but have no audio again.

Could I maybe have something set wrong in my Final Cut Settings?
