    Open up the Project pane. It’ll give you a Photoshop-like layer stack. Arrange your items (moving the group up as needed using the Position controls in the Inspector) and the apply the Behaviour to the Group.

    I’ll give another strong recommendation for Motion. Design everything inside of a group, the apply the “Scroll Text” Behavior to your group. It’s in the Text Animation category.

    Change the your track and menu Display Mode to 16×9 letterbox in DVD Studio.

    First, is your Photoshop canvas larger than the text or just the size of the text. See about adding some blank, transparent space around it. (Image -> Canvas Size) Give the canvas the same dimensions as your sequence.

    Second, try applying your effect to the video layer on the nested sequence instead of on the new sequence FCP made – or dodge the issue by using another image format with alpha such as TIF or PNG. FCP won’t nest TIF or PNG.

  • In the top center of the Canvas window there are three ovals. Click on the right one and make sure you are looking at Image or Image + Wireframe.
