    Oliver, I found this online.

    https://www.johnrellis.com/lightroom/exportlut.htm#overview

I’m certainly not a colorist, and this is all way outside my wheelhouse, but it looks as if this plugin will export a Lightroom LUT in the .cube format.

That said, I would be inclined to agree with you and Jeremy that doing video color correction in a photo application is unlikely to be a smooth or rewarding experience. But to each his/her own.

Sounds like wanting to replace the original media with a revised version.

If it’s a video clip, replacing the media with a clip that has the same name and time code, etc., should just be a relink.

    Unless I’m missing something?

[Herb Sevush] “As my mother used to say, in a very different context, for every peg there’s a hole.”

I think I recall my mother saying, in a similar context, “My, what a lovely thing to say.” Or something along those lines…

But then, she never visits the COW.

    [Herb Sevush] “for somebody else.”

    Like me. 😉

I am (somewhat) amused by people who misrepresent a poster’s words in order to further an old argument.

    Ahem. Yes,

I am what we in the TV business like to call “a moron.”

I couldn’t recall having loaded the Avid codecs on this machine Then I remembered that I had installed Avid v.7 on this computer quite some time before the Pro Apps update became available. So when I did the update before, the Avid codecs were already on the machine. Not so with the recent clean install. I just put them back on and all is well.

I thank you, Jeremy, for holding my hand and guiding me through this slightly humiliating misadventure.

They are pull reels of avid media wrapped in a .mov extension. I’ve used these reels in several projects. I,veg also used raw avid McFadden files pulled directly from the Isis partitions.

Maybe I need to install avid codecs? I didn’t recall doing that before, but maybe that’s the problem.

App store says I’m up to date. Do’t know if there’s a way to force it to let me re-download the update. Though I presume it would be a part of the current 10.2 download already?
