Hi Russ,
I’m recording on a Win7 Pro HP Z400 via a BMD Decklink card from an ATEM 1 M/E (same happens using the USB 3.0 recording feed as well). The levels coming in as viewed on the Media Express volume meters is -10 to -20 dBFS, and playing back a just-recorded file shows about the same visual level as well, it’s just that the level coming out of the PC speakers is very subdued. Yet if we try it in Media Player Classic HT it’s much louder. We’re recording in MotionJPEG currently.
I’ve seen reference here and there complaining of audio issues with Media Express, but it’s usually sync issues, which we don’t have. I was thinking maybe low volume might be another bug, just not as widely reported?
Thanks,
Jeff
