Ok I successfully burned a DVD with the suggested settings, it looks pretty good. Now I bought the dual layer DVD’s and want to see the difference. What should the settings be for pushing the boundaries of 8.5 gig DL DVD’s?

Thanks guys for the input, this is all new to me so I really appreciate it. I shoot with a Canon MarkIII so it is high quality. I exported with the preset Mpeg2-DVD, did the VBR-2pass. I see 3 settings for bitrate, minimum, target, and max….where do you set Avg? The exporting took hours, is this normal?

Also when it finished, there were 4 files, the audio file was seperate from the video, is this normal?
