Did some more playing around and managed to get a decent panel look for the crate. Is there a “best practices” for create a box in Invigorator? I’m really struggling getting these panels to match up.
I ended up create 6 squares in Illustrator and imported the AI file.

Thanks for the info. I tried using a plane, but it looks like I’ll have to experiment with an Illustrator file to get the desired look and edge. I can tell this will not be as straight forward as I had hoped.

Learning more about Invigorator. I had hoped to be able to write an expression to make the crate appear to be hanging from a rope/chain(out of site) and make the crate twist slowly, but I being led to believe that Invigorator is pretty much its own thing and can’t really be scripted.

Am I correct in that assumption?

I’m running out of luck on trying to find the images to put together a cube of images to create a TV. I don’t have a 3d app, not the skills to build my own.

Does anyone know of a place to find images of all angles of a tv?

Yep.. It looks like that, but what about the TV itself? Is there a way to import that into AE? I think I’m missing something…

I’ll a little more… I recently bought (less than 2 months ago) a Matrox Parhelia p750, thinking it would help me out. Other than the nice dual head display I’m still not sure what I should be looking at purchasing for 1) Dual Head display and 2)Faster render times, editing and encoding.

I’m working with a P4 1.8ghz and 1gb ram. I’d like to reuse as much of my existing hardware if possible, but willing to put some $$ into the video cards first.

Thanks for the info. Since I have the background without the character and then the video with the character and background, is there anyway to key out the background to make this easier? I thought a while ago I saw something like that but I’m not sure if that was a plugin or 3rd party app.
