No. Instead, build a disc image and use the freeware program ImgBurn to burn the image.
If you launch multiple instances of ImgBurn, you can set it to use a different burner in each instance.

The only thing short of rebuilding your project from scratch is to try to manually delete any remnants of the menu from your project’s \Sources\Menus folder. And any folders inside of the \Sources folder that have that menu’s name can be deleted as well.
You could probably get away with deleting the whole Caches folder, but any audio that needs conforming would have to be re-conformed.
Be aware that selectively deleting things in your project folder may make your project permanently un-build-able. Then you’d have to redo it from scratch. But since you may have to that anyway, even if you don’t try deleting items from the project folder, it may be worth a try.
Word to the wise: the more planning you do outside of Encore, and the less experimenting you do inside of Encore, will make your authoring life much easier.

Odd that you didn’t mention that in your first post. You explicitly said:

And if the lack of exporting subtitles is what’s holding you back from using Encore, perhaps a program like Subtitle Workshop or Lemony Subtitler would help. That way you create the subtitles once, and then import them into as many projects as you need. Edits are easy too.

As you have seen, once the button video loop begins, it will continue playing, *without looping*, until:
a.) the menu loops, or
b.) the end of the video in the linked timeline is reached.When b.) occurs, the button video will loop independently of the main menu looping. And that is the *only* time the button video will loop independently.
So if you have three 5-second clips that start after the end of the main program (i.e., the three copies that you added), and you put the poster frame for button #1 on the in-point of the first mini-clip, the video in button #1 (which starts at the poster frame) is 15 seconds from situation b.).
The poster frame for button #2 at the start of the second mini-clip is 10 seconds from situation b.), and the poster frame for the button #3 mini-clip is 5 seconds from the end of the timeline.

That’s actually a very clever technique, but it won’t work using the method you’ve outlined.
In the scenario you describe, button #1 will play for 15 seconds and then loop, button #2 will play for 10 seconds and then loop, and button #3 will play for 5 seconds and then loop.
Like so many things in DVD authoring, to make this effect work you have to trick the audience.
If you have 3 buttons then you will need 3 copies of the first 5-second clip for button #1, two copies of the second clip for button #2, and the one copy of the clip for button #3.
If you had 6 buttons, then it would be 6 copies for button #1, 5 copies for button #2, and so on.

If I understand you correctly then yes, that is as “seamless” as you can get. Just be aware that it may not appear seamless on *every* DVD player out there.

Thumbnail video buttons that you create in Encore will play and loop in an Encore menu. You just won’t be able to get the thumbnails to loop at different intervals than the rest of the menu unless you use AE or Pr.
