    Hi,

    Just got Encore installed at work. Trying to figure out the motion menu option. Here is what I’m trying to do (which may be impossible):

    – I have a 3 second animated bg loop (which I set to the video track)
    – Minute long audio loop, which I set to the audio portion.

    Now, will the video automatically loop multiple times, or does the video and audio HAVE to be the exact same length?! I guess I’m not sure if the audio or video have independent loop properties.

    Also, when I preview the dvd, why do I get that “hiccup” when it starts the menu again? Not seamless. Is that only in the preview? Sorry for all the newbie questions. Just baffled a bit.

    thanks;
    John

    The last frame of the video will be displayed until the audio loops.

    All DVD menus have a break when the menu loops. In Encore’s preview, the break is longer and more noticeable than on the finished DVD. High-quality DVD players will have only a very slight pause, and lower-end DVD players will have a longer pauses while the laser seeks to the beginning of the menu again.

    You’re welcome. 🙂

    Obviously, the best situation is to have the audio and video the same length. 😉
