Help with Motion Menus please!
Hi,
Just got Encore installed at work. Trying to figure out the motion menu option. Here is what I’m trying to do (which may be impossible):
– I have a 3 second animated bg loop (which I set to the video track)
– Minute long audio loop, which I set to the audio portion.Now, will the video automatically loop multiple times, or does the video and audio HAVE to be the exact same length?! I guess I’m not sure if the audio or video have independent loop properties.
Also, when I preview the dvd, why do I get that “hiccup” when it starts the menu again? Not seamless. Is that only in the preview? Sorry for all the newbie questions. Just baffled a bit.

The last frame of the video will be displayed until the audio loops.
All DVD menus have a break when the menu loops. In Encore’s preview, the break is longer and more noticeable than on the finished DVD. High-quality DVD players will have only a very slight pause, and lower-end DVD players will have a longer pauses while the laser seeks to the beginning of the menu again.
