Wehn you say “the disc still doesn’t work”, what happens, exactly? Does it behave exactly the same way as when the overrides were set? Or is the behavior different now?
Be detailed and precise, please.

Remove each and every override that exists anywhere in your project. The disc should play OK after that.

You didn’t say whether or not the menu had background video or audio.
Did you give the menu a duration under the Motion tab?
Did you uncheck Hold Forever?
Did you set any overrides?

In Encore, video thumbnail buttons will only display video content from the target of their link. Until you link them, they will be blank.
I’m still not sure that I fully understand what you are trying to do, but I if my guess is correct then here is how to fix the problem:
Composite the small video clips and button graphics that are supposed to be part of the video thumbnail buttons into a single background video. The new background video will not have any real menu buttons on it, but to the audience it will *look* like the menu buttons are there. Use After Effects or your favorite editing/compositing program to do that.
Back in Encore, import the new background video as an asset and then Alt+Drag it to the existing menu in the Menu Viewer.
Keep the video thumbnail buttons that you created earlier, but turn off the visibility of all of the layers in the button layer set by clicking on the eyeball next to each layer. The button will work like it’s supposed to, but the audience will never see anything but the “fake” button that you composited into the background video.
This technique is known as creating a highlight-only button.

It seems you are making this harder than it has to be, unless I don’t understand what you are trying to do. Why can’t you just put the 5 video thumbnail buttons on one menu?

If I’m not mistaken, 1080p/25 isn’t part of the Blu-ray spec. It’s not a legal BRD file.

Do you have any background processes running, like DLA modules from Roxio or Nero? They would most likely show up as tray icons that let you copy files directly to disc, treating your burner like another hard drive.
Disable those type of background programs or Encore won’t be able to see or access your burner.
There may be other issues. Please download the free program ImgBurn. Launch it and go to Tools>Filter Driver Load Order. Press the “Copy to Clipboard” button and then paste the contents here.

And it has to be part of the suite. Dynamic Link only works when the whole suite is installed; it’s not available for the individual apps no matter how many you have.
