menu control totally broken
Hey there,
i have very bad problems with my dvd-project. its a project in cs3.
the problem is that after burning on dvd or build as an image or dvd-folder the hole menu control dont work. endactions are not correct, links dont work and so on. but the preview in cs3 works correctly. and “check project” is also without any fault.i hope anybody knows this problem and can help me or can give me a advice.

Do you have any overrides set anywhere in the project?

yes i have should i better delete them, because there not really necessary.

Remove each and every override that exists anywhere in your project. The disc should play OK after that.

no, sorry i tried it, all overrides are deletet, but the disc still doesn´t work.
do you have another advice?micha

Wehn you say “the disc still doesn’t work”, what happens, exactly? Does it behave exactly the same way as when the overrides were set? Or is the behavior different now?
Be detailed and precise, please.

ok no problem i try to be more exactly.
the problems still complete the same. i build a dvd folder, try to view it with vlc-player -> the menu control was still broken. atfer that i tried to burn it with nero. nero told me in the same way that VTS_01_0.BUP and VTS_01_0.IFO are not the same.
if u need further information pls tell me.

Try building a disc image, then burning the image with ImgBurn. Play it on a hardware DVD player and then post back with the results.
I don’t trust VLC or Nero to play back the DVD or to burn the DVD properly.

i build the dvd, imgburn says that the blocksize isn´t correct and code it new. i hope it works after finishing. but i must test it on a pc, because there is no dvdplayer in here, but it must be the same result or not?
EDIT: dvd is complete no more errors in imgburn. but is still doesn´t work. i hope u have an other idea.

Did you try to add copy protection or region coding to the disc? Neither of those will work with burned discs. They are only for mastering discs that will be replicated from a glass master.
