I just upgraded to MC 5.03 with Snow Leopard in order to cut several Canon 7D projects. I am running a mac tower with 2×2.66 and 5 gigs ram. I installed the canon xf ama plug in and the avid mxf ama plugin. The linked media has unacceptable jitter and I’m forced to go back to importing.
Interesting because I worked with P2 footage via AMA and it was flawless.
Any idea why linking via AMA to the P2 (on MC v4.) is great but the Canon is terrible?

Hi – so what ‘pro’ codec need to be loaded to read APple uncompressed 10 bit 4:2:2?
I have a MacBook Pro 2.88 with QT Pro, AVID and FCP express and I still can’t open it.

I have the same problem. I’m running 10.5.7 and just installed FCP 6.0.1 in order to work on a project that was started on another system.

I tried to install the 6.0.6 update and get an error message that I need to update from 6.0.5.

I’ve just spent the last hour on-line looking for 6.0.5 and can’t find it.

Any hints? I’m a Avid user so this is all new to me.
