Thanks Shane, but this is old DV footage going to a professional NTSC monitor via firewire and a DV camera.

Everything I’m viewing in FCP is darker and more distorted with new aliasing now.
The quality degrades further upon export.

Just want to add this is happening with multiple projects, so I’m pretty sure it’s a quicktime or settings thing.
