Will the Magix Intermediary Format play on a MAC, FCP etc…?
    What is the extension?

Client wants a h.264 HD .mov

I am using Vegas Pro 15

I get that .mov is just a container. They are a Mac based company. So, they want .mov

Will the Magix Intermediary Render a .mov?

Hi George – Yes I see the value in incremental “save as’s”. Will be doing that going forward.

The burning question I have is about the autosaves. It says that it saves every 5 minutes. But, yet, the latest one found in the appdata folder was nearly 24 hours old. I had worked on the project at least 10 more hours then the last autosave stamped time.

Paul, Just like you said, I found the last “manual saved” veg file bak in the project folder.
It is stamped, just minutes before the crash. I changed the suffice to just .veg and it would not load.

The message when loading still displays:

An error occurred while loading the project file ___ veg
    The item was not found

I enabled hidden files and folders and found the last autosave veg file that was dated 24 hours previously.
    My Path: C:\Users\Jay\AppData\Local\VEGAS Pro\15.0\

There are no veg files .bak or otherwise from today’s date.
The veg file autosave from yesterdays date – opened.

I save my work by pressing “save” after each editing function that I perform. It’s just a habit.

Are the “manual saves” that I do, stored separately somewhere from the autosaves?

I am grateful to have a starting point of yesterdays work. But, really need all of the editing added today.

I can see how combining the two on a Veg file could work. And, will try it.

Production Assistant 2 does allow for separate video and audio overlays. And I have been using it to complete the final part of the batch rendering processing for a long time.

It would be nice to see Vegasaur updated to allow more than one.

    Thanks Wayne and Aleksey…

    1. Deleting the veg file worked.
    2. I see the drop down arrow now.

    I love Vegasaur 🙂

That’s Great! And will try it.
Otherwise I will just rename 1-99 in the edit details pane…

    Wayne,

Aleksey’s method worked perfectly, except for the single digit numbering from 1-99.
I hope that can be adjusted.

I want to thank you again for all of your help.
    I really appreciate it.
