Frank, I think you missed the point of the article.

Like Bill was saying, it’s a matter of knowing when to apply such techniques under certain circumstances and why.

Warm, but not hot. Yes, it’s normal.

Okay, now I’m really confused. Didn’t the OP shoot the original footage?

Sami, what version of Vegas are you using?

You might have an easier time getting an answer in the Avid forum.

Matt, I too teaching filmmaking on both the undergraduate and graduate level (in addition to my business).

The question asked could have easily been answered by one minute of searching online. Far too many people these days are lazy–pure and simple. I see it both in and out of the classroom. As Craig pointed out, it’s too easy to post a question here. Why do the work when you can find someone to do it for you?

You, as a teacher, should know that information gained through working for it is retained much, much longer than information simply handed over.

Besides, the OP wasn’t offended, why should you be?

Well, one would logically think the first place to go would be Fujinon USA’s Web site for a contact number and ask them.

In one minute I found what you need. Remember, Google is your friend–use it!

This is the down side of having computers with lenses attached. That’s all these cameras are. Just as computers can have a glitch for no apparent reason, so can these cameras, unfortunately.

You may never experience this problem again. On the other hand, it may happen again tomorrow.

As much as I love my EX3, I miss the days of mechanical cameras that one could count on working, as long as they were properly maintained.
