The DVD is for internal use only. The concert was part of Comcast’s New Year’s Eve Celebration. Five hours – all HD.
There was a pressing of only 1,000 copies – all given to anyone remotely associated with the cablecast. I re-cut the all the concert footage for the DVD release. Now I’ve been asked to make a CD out of the Styx sets.
It’s not a bootleg situation – just a higher up at Comcast would like to listen to the music in his car.

One thing that may be the cause here is the lack of space on the 2TB drive. It is recommended by most that you do not exceed 80% (some say 90%) of available drive space. So if you have a 100GB drive you wouldn’t fill it past 80GBs.
The disk might be fragemented as well. You can run a program like Disk Warrior to help with that. Warning – it will take awhile on a 2TB drive.
Make sure you back up all your files for this project. Worse case senario you may have to wipe the drive clean and re-batch everything.

Rigth now I’m only working with HD media. With 10.4.4 everything worked great – now it is horrible.
Good luck – I am rebuilding my system so it will be back at 10.4.4.

I’m finding weirdness ever since I installed OSX 10.4.5 – I just posted before you. Did this happen when you were running 10.4.4?

Actually it turned out to be a deck control issue. We’re using a Panasonic HD1200A deck, the setting in FCP was Sony VTR A for deck control. This was how it was captured. Once I switched over to a Panasonic deck setting in FCP the time code worked.
Not sure why.
