I would also like an answer for 2016…preferably the best workstation/gpu (PC or Mac) for strictly encoding/transcoding with AME.

Same problem here… I cannot find an option for the audio settings provided by the AJA tech in AME

The final output is to tape and is SD….the majority of the broadcast is natively SD only some portions are natively HD and thus the need for downconversion.

The AE thing works…its just a extra step that i don’t want to take if it don’t have to.

If you have soundtrack pro on your computer (you should if you have Final Cut Studio) I would use the noise filter it provides. Just search Soundtrack’s help file for noise removal.
