okay, for some reason there’s no export to AAF in my Premiere Pro CS4.

I checked in the CS3 version (on another pc) and it does have the “Export to AAF” function available under Project.
    Though, in CS4 it’s not there…

    ?

    oh…
    well thanks…

Most likely I’ll try the AAF route because I don’t really want to start editing at home…
I’ve only captured the footage from a camera (DV Footage, and I did it at home because my school doesn’t have the right hook up abilities on their computers).
And then I split it up…I didn’t add any effects or titles yet…

This is mainly because this project was a group project and many people are supposed to be editing it…however, it’s due Wednesday so I wanted to get started earlier…

    once again thanks…

    Hey,
I don’t know if my previous post is still up for moderation or just didn’t post, but I replaced my bonus footage asset (video clip) which was originally 3 GB .mov file (which seemed too much for a 4.7 GB disc, and that was just the bonus footage!)
and I replaced it with a smaller .mp4 file.

I tried to burn the disc again and it worked!
The audio problem fixed…it doesn’t jump around anymore…
Now, I just have to test the DVD and it should be ready for mass production…
Thank you for all your help

    Again, thanks,
And again, I’m not sure I should post this somewhere else,
but I tried to build the DVD (to disc) and it failed.
I received a “stream overlap” error.
I’m not sure exactly what it means (there still was space on the disc, in fact, it didn’t even burn anything to the disc).

I searched on the forums and they all say that basically it’s “transcoding” error, but I”m not entirely sure what that would mean and exactly how I’d fix it (would adobe media encoder help?)

    Thanks for all the help…
    The buttons worked!

    Thanks again you guys…
but, I don’t know if I should post this as a new thread, but since I’m here typing…

I’m also getting some problems with the background audio. I have the same audio file as the background audio for all my menus (I’m okay with the file restarting at each menu)
I don’t know if there’s a workaround or if this is just how it is,
but when I start up the dvd, and I’m at the main menu, the background audio begins playing, but when I press down (to move to another button), there’s a small freeze in the audio (and sometimes the screen) when you move from button to button. It restarts after a second, but it’s still not ideal.

Is there a way to make the audio play a bit smoother? (while clicking on buttons on the same menu?)

    thank you so much…
I’m gonna try that right now..

I didn’t realize that the stroke color was overtaking the whole subpicture…

I’ll post back with my results (which are hopefully successful)
    🙂
