    Hello Michael,

I just downloaded the trial version, I am running MAC OSX 10.6.4, video plays back fine, but the audio level meters don’t move at all during playback, and the fire wire icon next to the volume meters doesn’t seem to work, I have Mojo SD connected. Are you on a mac?.

    Thanks,

    Hello Ned,

Yes, the -3db improved the video quality, as far is the scene files downloaded from Panasonic, I have a problem, based on the instructions I had formatted the SDHC card on the HPX300, I am suppose to see a folder called “Private” after formatting, but I do not see anything, I am on a MAC Snow Leopard system. Any advice?.

    Thanks.

    Hello Jeff,

I completely agree with you, I was trying to take advantage of the capacity in the FS-100, but P2 cards are the way to go in order to take advantage of the AVC INTRA 100 format. By the way, I was shooting a test scene with Formatt Skin Enhancement Filters, great quality from my point of view and nice color saturation, what do you think of them?.

    I greatly appreciate your time!.

    Thanks,

    Javier L.

    Hello Jeff,

The shutter settings makes a great difference, but not convinced of motion quality, DVCPRO HD 24p is made from the 1080 60i signal?.

    Thanks.

    Hello Michael,

I appreciate your time and help, here I am posting the settings that works for me, I had tried 24p and 30p but they produce a strange type of motion on the video as I reported on the previous link, I don’t think the FS-100 has anything to do with it, since the video signal comes like that from the camera itself.

    *Camera:
    System Mode: 1080 59.94i
    Rec Format: DVCPRO HD 60i
    Camera mode: 60i
    Record Function: Normal
    1394 control: EXT
    1394 CMD SEL: REC_P

    *FS-100
    Record: Normal
    HDD Mode: DVCPRO REC
    DV Formats: QuickTime PN
SETUP: TC EXT / TC NON DROP / STOP FRAME
    Functions: FA TAPELESS
    Control: TAPELESS

    Thanks for your time.
