    Good afternoon,

I just purchased a Panasonic AG-HPX300 and I had tried several settings to shoot under cloudy and sunny environments at the same time, but the resulting video shows lots of noise. Any suggestions for the camera settings?.

    Thanks in advance.

Go to https://www.dvxuser.com then the HPX300 forum and search “noise”. There’s been lots of threads regarding this. Before going further make sure you download the latest firmware updates. Then download the files listed in the Panasonic site which were created by a DP. Also, shoot in -3db whenever possible.

    Hello Ned,

Yes, the -3db improved the video quality, as far is the scene files downloaded from Panasonic, I have a problem, based on the instructions I had formatted the SDHC card on the HPX300, I am suppose to see a folder called “Private” after formatting, but I do not see anything, I am on a MAC Snow Leopard system. Any advice?.

    Thanks.
