ok i figured out the workflow for the red. however I am also editing footage in the same sequence that was shot on af100 23.978 1920×1080. I assume I will have to downgrade the red footage in order to output the sequence in the final output @ 1920×1080. does it even make sense to relink to the full res RED footage?

does it matter if I do this via AMA or can I just transcode the files in red cine x?

im working off a late 2010 mac book pro 2.93 mhz processor with 8gb ram. the source file was shot on a vericam in 1080p 24 and the 3.5 minute clip of it runs about 4 gb. not sure what my settings are in after effects
