Can you make all the pieces of fruit separate layers and use the wiggle expression? Attach the expression to a slider control so you can animate it.

I actually like to use premiere pro for credits. The reason is that it’s really easy to time the credits to end exactly at the end of a song. No keyframes necessary. Just an alternative.

Yes, you’ll have to delve into motion/planar tracking. That’s a way to record an item’s movement thru a clip. Then with that info, you can replace, for instance, a word with another. Google for Mathias Mohl. His website mamoworld.com has tutorials considering what you want to do. If you need to do this project first, go ahead; you’ll learn a lot. But don’t skip over the basics when you’re done.

Hmmm, without Mocha I think that would be tough. Notice how even though the guy didn’t move, his chest muscle did?
Using displacement mapping can get a layer to lay over another. If you have CS4, mocha should have come with it. Take a look at this tutorial by Mathias Mohl. I think it’s exactly what you’re looking for:

I love AE! I’m not sure if the big Hollywood studios use it for the big movie stuff but I see tons of commercials and TV shows that use it. After awhile you can recognize a technique or plugin. Just yesterday I saw Zaxwerks 3D flag used in a commercial. So, what I’m saying is get started with AE today – from there, see where you go!

Are you in Comp view or Layer view? Try double clicking on the layer in the timeline. If that’s not your problem, do you have the right source layer selected in the tracker?
