Are you copying and pasting the clips of one sequence into the new 4:3 seq or or dragging the 16:9 sequence to the 4:3 sequence?

    Hello-
Two things come to mind. First, you can map a key like “shift-O” (I use ‘O’ for output) to the file menu’s export using quiktime conversion – so that all you have to do is select a frame and type shift O – then you’ll get the export dialog box. This works well for one or two quick exports.
Secondly, If you are trying to export several JPEGS I suggest using batch export. Do so by first creating a bin & name it JPEGS to export. Next, select the frame you wish to export and subclip or drag the clip from your viewer or canvas (which ever you are pulling stills from). Name each of the 1 frame subclips in your new bin. Highlight the bin and select batch export from the file menu. Once batch export opens, click on the settings tab and choose – Export to still image and set your settings as you normally would under this dialog menu. Select your destination and click export.

    Hope this helps
