if your shooting a film or working commercially why would it matter the storage space? if your an event video guy then this is not the tool you would use. plus it shoots in two HD codecs one being the prores for all the mac nuts. but vegas pro can handle all these files. but just like the camera be sure your hardware on your editor is up to the job you are using it for. use the proper tool for the job. not a hard science.
