what about the fact that it is slow , does not display layers in real time and does not do background rendering??I think Avid is a bust.

I did all that.. and I can’t link to all the files at once from the hard drive, only from the CF card..I copied the whole folder over and am familiar with AMA workflow.. any suggestions?

Sorry I meant XDCAM Tranfer.. that is what opens up when I import the footage.. the question is , what about the corruption of the footage as I edit?

Sorry But I was under the impresson that you import using import xdcam from FCP and that it opens up the correct program and then you click on the card and then import all the files.. it thenimported to project.. is that the wrong way?

Well you don’t release and charge for a product that is not ready for use.
