I’m having the same problem on my laptop for over a month. I’ve done all the suggestions on at the Sony site. I use XP media center. I’m reading this thread with great interest. I’m at the point of formating and starting over, also. But, procrastinating from beginning that chore. Would love to find out it’s something simple. I have Norton Internet Security. Paint Shop Pro X has been on the laptop for 2 years. I’ve tried the registry cleaner also (advanced registry optimizer).
