    https://www.finemaker.pl/# If you click on his reel the very first shot has what I am talking about. Ill play with caustics and see what happens. Any other suggestions would be helpful

    Unfortunately. THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE, you can go from CS3 to CS4 cross platform but you cant go backwards. I have run into that before and it sucks.

  • This should be an easy one, if you dont currently see a PARENT column in your timeline then right click in the empty space next to source name. There you will see an option to add columns. add the PARENTING column and AFTER setting the base size and position of your 2 layers parent 1 layer to the other. Then only adjust the position, scale, rotations etc on the layer that you have designated to be the parent.

    You can parent one layer to the next by either selecting the layer in the drop down list or selecting the pick whip (the curly icon next to the drop down list) and drag that to the layer you want to parent too.

    Well seeing as Particular 2 can burst up to 1 million per second, I dont think 1300 is a much, but I am really looking to be efficient and not be careless with my RAM. I only wonder this because in 3D programs there is a child/parent relationship where you preview the parent but output both at the end.
