    Cool!

Now I can have the background that I want! Thanks.

The only other thing that I would like to do is change the button styles to just plain text with no effects or backgrounds.

Is there a way to take away bevel effects or button styles?

Can I create my own templates in Encore and import them into the DVD menu library?

  • Actually I am already using Canopus Procoder on a PC to handle the conversion. I know it would be better to convert on the Mac but I feel comfortable with Procoder for a few reasons.

Anyway my question had more to do with which PAL settings I should use for 24pa footage from a DVX100? Interlaced or Non-Interlaced?

When I output intelaced I notice some interlacing lines in the footage from time to time?

I found I can avoid this by rendering the clip non-interlaced but then I notice a frame rate stutter.

Which method is better to render to in the long run?

  • Well right now I am mainly hoping to finish for a BlueRay HD DVD for straight to video distribution.

Also I hope to get this into film festivals so I think Digibeta is a common festival format? (but I am not sure)

What is an ideal format to finish to for a indie HD film?

Also I have been noticing that the BlueRay spec is 1080p. With the Panasonic being 720p, how would I convert to 1080p?

(I think I read somewhere that you can do it thru a Flame suite?)

I have read that the circular look of the Kamio is a dead give away that it is “a Kamio”.

While I think it sounds like a good idea. Do you think that the circle in the eye would be too much for a main eyelight in a film?

  • No, not really. I just wanted to know how you bring any of them into Premiere?

By the way which ones work?

    Thanks:)

I have tried to import the Premiere Project file into After Effects but it crashes each time.

Do you mean I can copy from Premiere and Paste into AE?

From what I can see there is no dynamic link option to import a Premiere project.

June 28, 2006 at 3:35 am in reply to: Email Workflow? Importing Sequences?

If I understand you correctly, I can have 2 project files open at a time?

The “master” project file that I am working on, and the emailed project file. Then I can just copy what ever additional sequences the other editor has assembled and paste them into my master project to be used in the final cut of the film?
