Your 7D footage does not have timecode. No HDSLR footage does without manipulation. ProRes will not help you with this either. Whatever machine you are using to grade your footage could be looking for unique timecode, and instead is finding a bunch of clips that start at :01:00:00:00. Thus confusing it.

That’s my initial thoughts on your issue.

Jason, you may find that to be one of the shortest tests you’ve ever conducted.

That’s what I’m afraid of. It will be great in the not so distant future, but the reality is that not every project is file based yet. We still have work that is coming off SR.

I know I can dual boot, but for what (I imagine) seems to be such a SMALL amount of additional information in the program, why not include it? Would have been ok for version X.2.

I’m looking for Deck Control 1st.
Testing it out with as many file formats as I can CLOSE 2nd.
