Ah, thank you very much for getting back to me about this.

So to achieve that effect – do I just increase the contrast with the ‘brightness and contrast filter’, and decrease the saturation, and increase the gain slightly with the ‘colour correction’ filter?

    Thanks again

    You’re a legend mate,

Thank you so much for your help.

What I’ll do is head home and write to you every format I am using and what it is rendering out to, and hopefully you can help me from there.

    Cheers

I used a HD Panasonic camera and filmed in the highest definition, so the file sizes were large, and yes the end product has been rendered to a smaller, compressed file

Thanks for getting back to me so promptly.

The video is only 4 minutes in length

    Thanks for your advice.

This is really strange, but it was definitely the audio which was causing the problem. When I did the initial render, it got past 50% and began to render the audio, and then crashed.

So as a last ditch effort I rendered the video with no audio, it worked fine.

Then I re-rendered this time accompanying the audio and it worked perfectly.

Can you explain why this happens?

    Cheers

    Hi Guys,

I am also having the same issue.

I just purchased a new computer for editing purposes, and the file I am trying to render is a 7 minute long collection of videos shot in HD for a wedding. I am rendering into an mp4 file and the rendering usually freezes between the 30-69% mark.

It is becoming quite frustration and I’m not sure how to solve the issue.

I am not using any other programs while attempting to render, and screen savers etc have been turned off.

Would appreciate some help as soon as you can.

    Thanks
