I have a total of 16 cores working so the processor is not an issue.

It seems like Premiere is not seeing the GPU and is tasking the CPU.

Sometimes the files will play fine. The next time we play the sequence it, bogs down after 5 seconds.

Also, the files seem to play fine in the source monitor. The problems arise when we put them into the timeline.

I also notice that the yellow bar is always above the footage in the sequence, even when I create the sequence to match the footage. Am I missing something somewhere?

Tried it and no change. Even though 26 of my 32Gb of RAM is dedicated to Premiere, it still bogs down with the .mts files. Still bogs down if I dedicate the max (29Gb).

I also noticed that the files are choppy when I play them outside of Premiere. I updated my video card driver, but it is still jerky.

After researching this online, I am seeing many, many people with the same problem and NO solution. This is strange considering the popularity of both Panasonic and Sony.

    Any ideas?

Is is slightly slower. It plays fine for a clip or 2, but then bogs down. If I stop it and restart it in the timeline, it plays fine briefly and then bogs down.
