    Actually, i did 😉
But since i live in Germany (and have my whole life), i watch them at 25 fps. I have never ever even seen an NTSC DVD Player… (as sad as that may sound)

    Hey guys,

    thanks for the answers.
For the last two days i have been trying out Twixtor, with mixes resluts. It is possible to get a good looking ans smooth playing conversion, but that involves a lot of keyframing work to set up different parameters for different shots or even for different parts inside of one shot.

But i guess that’s what it comes down to if you can’t afford hardware conversion.

@ Dave: If the DVD player ads the pulldown, how smooth is the result?

@ Sean: Thanks for the tipp, i’m gonna look for a trial verison of DVAtlantis and then i’ll give it a shot!

    Hey guys,

thanks for the answers. Since there’s nothing out there that does what i want it to do (at least not for my current budget), and i don’t want to go for a half assed solution, i’m gonna wait two to three months, save my money and probably buy a Flanders LM-1760W.
    Any thougths?

    hey guys,

first of all: thanks for your answers!

@ Bob: i read about the HP Dreamcolor, but 2000$ (+300$ for the calibration unit) is too much money for me.

@ Maurice: i also read about the Ezio. Can you tell me how exactly it is calibrated? As far as i know, it has this “EIZO ColorNavigator” Software to do teh calibration work. How is that working out for you? Can i Calibrate the monitor “manualy”? (= does it have a blue only mode?)

@ topic: just to throw another one in mix: is there anyone out there who owns/works with a SONY LMD-2030W? Any experiences?

    Hi guys,

i’ve got a big problem and i really need some help.

Over the last weekend i shot some footage on the Games COnvention in Leipzig, with a Panasonic avchd cam.
After my SD card was full, i transfered the files to an external drive, and formated the sd card. The problem is, that avchd to dvcpro hd won’t recognise the files from the external HDD as Panasonic files, allthough they are! I evern tried copying them back to the card, but still nothing. The programm will only recognise the clips that were allready on the card (The ones i shot after i formated the card).

    Any ideas?

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance.

P.S.: please excuse my english 😉
