Got it to work, something was amiss with the original spline. Resaved it out of illy and it worked. Thanks for your help.
Unfortunately it looked like crap the way I had planned to make it. I guess I will bring in the spline as a template and just construct the rounded convex front part using other splines in c4d. -
Tried that and it doesn’t work. It makes a new extrude nurbs object. Tried scaling/moving the cap and it is still not attached to the rest and scales/moves separately. Tried it on both the original and the new extrude nurbs object.
