It was an OMF it would appear. The post facility I’m in had done the conform before I came in, so I should have just been doing a straight checking and grading. But these little things have popped up…
To be honest, it was done at such a low res on the Avid that they probably wouldn’t have noticed the problems I’m getting anyway – mainly jerkiness and some nasty field problems even once I’ve cut it and sped it up manually. So it may actually be down to the motion in the shot coupled with the speed…
I shall get to the bottom of it 😉
