I agree. I do some editing in the timeline and it does seem easier. The times I tend to use the trimmer are when I want to segment my clips into folders. So if I’ve got a few hundred sub-clips and at a particular point in the video I’m editing in the timeline I say, “hey, a shot of the bride’s flowers flying through the air would look awesome here!”, I can go into the post-reception folder and find it quickly and easily.

You’d think Sony would have an option to continue playing from the set-out point of your sub-clip as compared to the set-in clip. Grrrr…..
