Hi Tony.
I have the exact situation as this post string from last year. I am trying to get set up to edit so I was wondering if you followed the advise and transferred both to prores, or did something else. And how it worked for you and came out.

I tried to export the h.264 sequence using the prores codec and the resolution and lost frames and other issues were still there. So I then just right clicked on the sequence within FC and selected send to Compressor then converted it, and it created a .mov file that seems to have corrected the issues.

Does anyone have any opinions or comments on that?
