    In that case I would suggest visiting the Timescapes.org forum. It’s dedicated to all aspects timelapse filming/photography. It’s full of hard earned and valuable information.

    Yup :shrug:. I noticed after I had submitted my response for moderation.

    If that’s Vegas 9 or 10 he could import that pile of stills as an Image Sequence making life easier all round IMHO.

    To remove the black bars click the ‘Event Pan/Crop’ tool on the far right of the timeline clip. From the drop down menu choose 16:9. Viola!
    You can also re-position the crop as required.

    I’d also change the render quality to best.

    This is the first time I’ve required the use of scripting. It seems that there is a lot more it can do than I assumed. Thanks for opening my eyes.
