Sure did, and it took me to an Amazon site (see link below) that advertised the unit as being compatible with Mac OS 10.5.7 and later. Reading this ad as a potential buyer, I would expect that all aspects of the card should work with Mac OS 10.9 including the “Cuda Accelerator” which is now noticeably absent from my Premiere Pro CC software. https://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0028N6YHU/ref=nosim/7240466-rg2304-00-20?s=merchant
So Juan, I guess that I have to agree with your assessment of the Nvidia Quadro FX 4800 card for Mac being obsolete if there is no longer any support for it. However, the burning question remains, “Why is Nvidia still selling it?”
So the Nvidia Quadro FX 4800 Cuda Accelerator feature in my Mac doesn’t work after installing OS 10.9 and it’s not the fault of Apple, Adobe or Nvidia. Okay, I’m out $1500.00 and I guess I just have to chalk it up to experience but I will be very wary about any future dealings with those jokers.
I was using FCP until they abandoned the market. I then moved over to Premiere pro and now I see that they are changing the rules. I guess that I will have to learn Avid.
I recently had the same problem with Premiere Pro and I traced the problem to some high resolution stills that I was working with in a certain project. I have been working on a new project without any stills and the software has worked perfectly.
