Hi Jon,

Thanks for your response. I do have the device control set to DV/HDV. My additional options are set to:

Video Standard: NTSC
Device Brand: Generic
Device Type: Standard
Timecode Format: Auto Detect

Check Status says “Detected.”

Also, half the time when I try to open the capture window Premiere hangs up and I have to end the program.

Any other ideas?

I also experienced this error. After reviewing my chapter markers I found that I had one stray marker located about 1 minute after the last clip in the timeline. I deleted this marker as well as a few other unneeded, automatically generated markers and my disk burned fine.
