One thing I haven’t quite figured out is why you woulld need to export and then reimport the subclip before affecting it for online (recapturing) reasons?? I will be recapturing my media later so is this step absolutely necessary for maintaining edl information??

Great tutorial! Thanks Shane (or Capt’n Mench…)!! The trouble I was having was where I expected – the handles making it impossible to properly change the parameters. It’s much clearer now. Thanks!

I haven’t seen the systems just yet so not sure about capture cards… But is it also correct that if i drop my 16:9 sequence into a 4:3 project it will give me 4:3 letterboxed??
