Well its a PAL tape, but recorded on a NTSC AG-DVX100 camera.

Thank god for that, what had happend was the platic bit that keeps the first bit of glass in place had came off, I found that, but didnt know about the other glass bit till I found it on the floor, now I feel like a dumb ass haha. Its all looking sweet again now, lucky it wasn’t scratched just a little marked.

I have the same problem my cam won’t work with Firewire, I live in the UK where could I send/take the camera to get a new board, and how much is it going to cost me roughly?

Thanks for the tips on lighting, the thing is round here, you cannot rent a thing. Everything I get has to be bought and paid for, so I’m really looking at ways to get that more cine-feel, without costing an arm and a leg. Another thing with lighting, is the space I have, in most shots the space is cramped at best, with out 3/4 ft to move each way. Another thing is outside shots, if its the middle of the day, and the sun is out and bright, there is no need for the lighting, so how do you get the cine-look then?
