    Mac Book Pro 15″

Tried mounting card every way possible; its a Transcend 16gb series 6 Flash Card

you need the RAW sxs SDHC Adapter to house the Flash Card

I have placed the Adapter via Express Card, as well as leaving it in the Camera, and routing the Camera via USB

I even tried placing the Flash in the Transcends USB Card Holder

Yes, I do have current Drivers > I transferred all the other Cards fine > except for this One

The Card is not Mounting > I am not seeing the Clips in the Camera > Nothing > Need to Retrieve Video that is on this card

Thank you for any and all suggestions

thanks for your reply — I did plead ignorance on the subject

it is text — going to video as a PNG… I made the mistake of saving the MASTER text look that I like

therefore — I will attempt to ask again — how do I step-backward this process to I can manipulate // change the name in the text — keeping the same look?

ACTION — learn action — copy that — just you // or someone get me through this dilemma… thanks

hey Joe, the sample rate was fine. I suspicious this has something to do with my new G Drive

I just bought the new G Drive Q and I am trying to capturing a Mini DV tape for the first time, and the playback is fine on the camera, but plays back FAST in FCP.

I reset my scratch disk to my boot drive > captured a clip and it played back fine. I really need to move forward with some capturing this weekend. Please help.

should I put the deck in LP mode, I tried everything at this point… they were not shot in PAL

I tried this 4 times now and both clips I am testing play on the deck fine, but play fast in FCP.

    What’s happening?

not a dumb suggestion, however, after I purchased Disk Warrior I quickly learned it does not read MS DOS (fat 32) drives which the LACIE was formatted. I know, it should be MAC OS Extended I learned that now too.

First, I just need to recover this project, organize my drives, and reformat this one. thanks

    Hey Andy,

what’s your opinion on this drive? https://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=cart_accessories&A=details&Q=&sku=506745&is=REG

Also, how do I make sure this drive gets formatted to MAC OS Extended. When I bought this LACIE it was already formatted.

You also mentioned I would have to batch capture from the original tapes? Really? Shouldn’t the media copy over.

Sorry for all the questions, but I am just getting confused with feedback and can not think straight at this point.

    Hey Walter:

I am not out of the woods yet.. appreciate the feedback

While exporting my sequence as QT self-contained – I am receiving the following –

    File Error: illegal name

what is this? When I went to check my Sequence settings again I also realized it set as

720X480 NTSC DV (3:2)….. this isn’t right for an SD output is it? Shouldn’t it be 4:3? I am confused because I never changed these settings. In the past everything went smooth.

    Thanks Walter,

the culprit, an opening “Animation” slate I am putting at the head & end of the sequence. Therefore, being the first thing changing the sequence settings.

Sometimes its the littlest things… thanks
