Joel,

As it turned out..I have two graphics cards for my dual operating systems. One is an Nvidia Fermi and the other is a Radeon. Premiere was meant to run off the NVIDIA and I had accidentally switched over to the other that runs the Mac. Once I figured it out…I swapped the settings and Premiere was fine. Premiere’s Mercury acceleration (on the PC) needs that card.

I would check your driver settings and be sure it is set correctly.

I figured it out. Problem solved.
Nobody responded, but I am new here…..lol

Kevin,
I have the same problem, I think…but I am on Windows 7 version of Creative Suite Production Premium. Premiere Pro imports video just fine, but when I drop into the timeline..it won’t display at all. After Effects is not affected by this. Will the same type fix work for Win version?
