GRRRR I freaking HATE premiere. years and years and years later and we still have these stupid issues that are MAJOR time wasters. Have 3 one hour sessions with hundreds of stabilized clips and an adjustment layer deleted all of the analyzed data. DAYS of reanalyzing this 4k Multicam. So pissed. Forget introducing VR, FIX THE BASIC ISSUES ADOBE.

  • Absolutely fascinating.

I constantly run into the issue of a tremendous increase in render time from one export of the same sequence to the next. Using identical settings in AME, the first h.264 export finishes a 3 minute Red sequence with minor gpu enabled effects in about 5 minutes, however if I need to re-export that same sequence it takes over 90 minutes. Even after a reboot it struggles. Quite strange

I was amazed when the system I built with a 570GTX natively enabled the MPE when I opened Premiere for the first time with no modifications at all, running Lion OS 10.7.3

  • Absolutely agree Jerry. I’ve run Premiere next to Final Cut for a long time and haven’t run into a single issue because of it. Same mentality with 7 and the upcoming X.
