I’ve had lots of luck with Shockwave-Sound.com…….although my credit card company always thinks its a fishy transaction when I pay, due to the billing address in Norway.

I hav an old beam splitter Prompter hood. The old monitor is a perfect “tray” for my iPad. I use the Teleprompt + app, which allows me to import scripts as text files. I can control it from my iPhone. Sure glad I didn’t get rid of that old prompter hardware.

I recently jumped into using LED lights, after years of using ARRI kits and Lowell RIFAs. A good LED kit is pretty pricey. I went with a less pricey IKAN kit that has 3 fixtures that you can control the color temp, so you can use inside or outside. I don’t think they will hold up to heavy road wear and tear but they are good lights. I spent about $2900 for the kit.

I had pretty much the same thing happen on my initial recording with my new A7s. I wasn’t recording in S log 2, but it was definitely an artifact of the florescent lighting in the room.

I’m going to guess that the MP4s I’m seeing are really a container for the XAVCS files.
