Hi,

Started a new post today around Vegas Pro 8.0 and On2 Flix Pro to find out the best approach and settings to convert to .flv. Found this forum and was so impressed by the HBR Construction Group video.

Any details or tips specific to what went into having that look as good as it does would be so much appreciated! I am truly a newbie when it comes to preparing files for the web, and your video just looks great!

This is very helpful, so thanks for the clarification. I won’t need the interactivity so it sounds like I won’t have too many limitations. I hadn’t installed version 8 (Vegas) yet and tried to import a few samples into version 4 (only to find that version wasn’t ready to accept the flash files yet). I’ll check out the AE CS3 as well and then choose between that and Swish.

Looks like a great product, but was not planning to spend anywhere near the $1000 price tag on Adobe’s website. Is there a more budget-friendly program out there that comes close? And could I use that (or this) program to it’s full capabilities in terms of what I can import to Vegas?

Yes, this link brings me to a page I had viewed previously. So does this confirm I cannot do what I want (because all I’m seeing is the ability to bring in the text)? This is where I got somewhat confused initially.
